SAP IS Retail Project Manager

We would like to engage your support in identifying an experienced
SAP IS Retail Project Manager for an upcoming client engagement.
Role OverviewWe are looking for a senior project manager who will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering
SAP IS Retail initiatives on time, within scope, and within budget, while ensuring alignment with retail business objectives and SAP best practices.
Required Experience & Profile - Proven experience managing full-lifecycle SAP projects, ideally with a strong focus on SAP IS Retail / SAP Retail and SAP Cloud ERP Public Edition implementations
- Solid understanding of core retail processes, including merchandising, pricing, promotions, inventory management, and store operations, and how these are supported in SAP IS Retail
- Strong stakeholder management skills across business and IT
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) preferred
- SAP and/or Agile certifications are a strong plus
Key Responsibilities - Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria for SAP IS Retail implementations, rollouts, and enhancements in close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders
- Develop and manage detailed project plans (timelines, milestones, resources, costs) and track execution against plan
- Lead cross-functional teams across functional, technical, integration, testing, and change management streams, coordinating across Retail, Finance, Supply Chain, and Store Operations
- Establish project governance and actively manage risks, issues, and dependencies, including mitigation and resolution
- Act as the primary point of contact for project sponsors and key stakeholders, providing regular status reporting, steering committee updates, and decision support
- Ensure adherence to the selected delivery methodology (SAP Activate / Agile / Hybrid), including quality gates and documentation standards
- Oversee key project phases such as requirements and blueprinting, solution design reviews, testing cycles, cutover planning, and go-live / hypercare
- Coordinate closely with SAP IS Retail functional leads to ensure configuration, integrations, and data migration meet business and performance requirements
- Manage project financials, including budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and delivery against financial targets
